Kerala General Nursing & Midwifery course admission 2022 has been started by Government of Kerala. Candidates those who are willing to apply for the course those students can apply for the course by senting the application form to the District nursing schools on or before the last date. The last date to send the reciept of application form is 30.7.2022.
Qualifications necessary for General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course
Candidates those who are applying for the course should pass Pus two or equal examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with 40% aggregate marks.Pass marks for the examination is only necessary for SS/ST students.
Age limit
Candidates applying for the course should have completed age of 17 years on 31/12/2022. The candidates should not be above the age of 25 years on the date. SC/ST candidtaes applying for the course will get the age relaxation as per the government rule of Kerala.
Number of seats alloted :
The total number of seats alloteed for the course in the year 2022 is 365 seats equally distributed through 14 districts, 20% of the seats are alloted for the boys and 80% of the seats are alloted for girls.
How to apply for the General Nursing & Midwifery course
Candidates can apply for the General Nursing & Midwifery course by following the steps mentioned below:-
Application form should be filled up correctly together with the necessary documents should be sent to the related Nursing schools in the district on or before the last date of submission.
On the envelope the candidate should write on the top of the envelope as “Application for Diploma in General Nursing for the year 2022”. The candidates those who give the envelope Late, Incomplete and defective applications will be rejected.
Documents required for the submission along with Application form
The candidates should give the following documents along with the Application form when giving to the near Nursing schools.
- Application fee receipt (challan) remitted in Treasury (original)
- Self Attested copy of the relevant page of SSLC or Equivalent certificate to prove the date of birth.
- Self Attested copies of Mark list of all parts of Higher Secondary or Equivalent xamination and pass certificate in the qualifying examination.
- Caste / Income Certificate
- Disability Certificate
