RBI Assistant Notification 2023 : The RBI Assistant Notification 2023 has been released by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on 13th September 2023 on its official website – www.rbi.org.in. The Notification is released for filling 450 vacancies for the assistant post in various RBI offices. The Notification comprises about eligibility criteria, exam pattern, syllabus, selection process and more. The recruitment process will also contain a RBI Assistant Examination which is divided into three stages – Prelims, Mains and Language Proficiency Test.

RBI Assistant 2023 Educational Qualification
i. At least a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PwBD candidates) in the aggregate and the knowledge of word processing on PC.
ii. A candidate belonging to Ex-servicemen category (except dependents of ex-servicemen) should either be a graduate from a recognized University or should have passed the matriculation or its equivalent examination of the Armed Forces and rendered at least 15 years of defence service.
iii. Candidates applying for post in a particular recruiting Office should be proficient in the language (i.e., know to read, write, speak and understand the language) of the state/ any of the states falling under the recruiting Office.
RBI Assistant 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Nationality:
A candidate must be either:
i. a citizen of India, or
ii. a subject of Nepal, or
iii. a subject of Bhutan, or
iv. a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
v. a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination, but the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate is issued to him/her by the Government of India.
Age
Between 20 and 28 years. Candidates born not earlier than 02/09/1995 and not later than 01/09/2003 (both days inclusive) are only eligible to apply.
