National Testing Agency has released the admit card for UGC NET through online mode for the academic year 2020. All the candidates can download the Admit Card from the official website by using the application number and password or date of birth of the candidate. Due to the Covid 19 pandemic Earlier the UGC NET 2020 Examination was postponed by National Testing Agency, and the new date for the examination is from November 4th 2020 – November 13th 2020. NTA UGC NET 2020 Admit Card
All the candidates those who are attending the NTA UGC NET 2020 Examination those candidates should strictly follow the covid 19 precautions and should also maintain social distancing at the examination hall / examination centre. If the candidates are finding any error or discrepancy in the admit card candidates have downloaded, candidates should inform the Authority immediatly. The Admit Card is issued provisionally to the candidates, subject to the fulfillment of the eligibility conditions. The candidate has to download the Admit Card from the NTA websitew.e.f15 May 2020 onwards and appear for the Examination at the given Centre on Date and Shift (Timing) as indicated in their Admit Card. No candidate will be allowed to appear at the examination centre, on Date and Timings other than that allotted to them in their Admit card. In case candidates are unable to download Admit Cards from the website, the candidate should approach the Help Line between 10.00 am to 5.00 pm from 15 May 2020 to 10 June2020. The candidates are advised to read the instructions on the Admit Card carefully and follow them during the conduct of the examination. In case of any discrepancy in the particulars of the candidate or his/her photograph and signatures shown in the Admit Card and Confirmation Page, the candidatemay immediately approach the Help Line between 10.00 am to 5.00 pm between 15 May 2020 to 10 June 2020.In such cases, candidates would appear in the examination with the already downloaded Admit Card. However, NTAwill take necessary action to make correction in the record later

About UG NET 2020
On behalf of University Grants Commission (UGC), the National Eligibility Test (NET) is conducted for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship & Assistant Professor Both, in Indian Universities and Colleges.
Till June 2018, the CBSE conducted the NET in 84 subjects at 91 selected Cities of spread across the country. Since Dec 2018 onwards, the UGC- NET is being conducted by the NTA.
The award of JRF and or Eligibility for Assistant Professor depends on the aggregrate performance of the candidate in Paper-I and paper-II of UGC-NET. The candidates qualifying only for Assistant Professor are not to be considered for the award of JRF. Candidates who qualify the test for eligibility for Assistant Professor are governed by the rules and regulations for recruitment of Assistant Professor of the concerned universities/colleges/state governments, as the case may be. UGC-NET is conducted twice a year. In June 2020, the examination is scheduled between 15 June and 20 June 2020.
